Aye ! CHIHUAHUA

I can't tell you the many hundreds of calls I have gotten
, over the years, for a "Tiny Teacup Chihuahua" !!!! It really use to irritate me, but I have come to except
it. Of course, that doesn't mean there is any such thing, but now & then you see one, in a picture, a pup 1/2 stuffed
into one. Of course, if the pup is a couple days old, it should fit into a teacup ! And, then there's those that when I ask "what do you
consider a teacup Chihuahua?"......... I get a variety of answers. For instance, "it's one that won't get over 1-2
pounds grown " (yeah, right..... how many of them have YOU seen ? ) LOL.... And then some say, "well, about
4-5 pounds" OK, that sounds better, cause we all know that there are 15-20 pound Chihuahuas out there. And, I've been told there are 3 sizes of Chihuahuas.....
teacup, toy and standard. I often wonder why people don't seriously get a book & learn all they can about their
breed choice, before they become experts. I'm not an expert and will never claim to be. I've raised Chihuahuas for over 20
years now, but I will never be an expert and I can honestly say that I am still learning, cause new stuff comes up, just about
every day. Most of us know that by AKC rules Chihuahuas are in the Toy Group, they are toy dogs, even if they are 15 pounds
( of course, they are not going to place in the show ring, no matter how beautiful, because the show standard calls for Chis
to be 2-6 pounds and you will rarely, if ever see a 2 pounder, in the ring, except in a puppy class, maybe, but it probably
won't win. And, sometimes there is a Chi so outstanding that a little over 6 pounds will still earn him the blue ribbon. AND,
at last, I do own a true teacup Chihuahua and here's the pictures ! Anyone care to make an offer ?????
